PAIR Antique French Round Side Table Grotto Rococo Cast Iron Plant Stand c1880.

Direct from France, a superb pair of antique French cast iron tables.  Their stunning Rococo styling features high-relief casting, in a naturalistic detail to simulate a “grotto” effect, with an abundance of leaves and florals around the circular table tops and continuing throughout the pedestal.

Lower table features more ornate florals continuing through the tripod base and scroll feet.

A rare pair, excellent as side tables for any room, at home in a garden room or formal dining, and obviously excellent for displaying beloved plants, antique cache pots, or bronze!

Outstanding quality craftsmanship, VERY HEAVY AND SUBSTANTIAL, circa1880..
