Direct from France, a superb and highly sculptural antique brass candelabra in the Baroque Revival style, centered by a bold heraldic lion finial.

The heavy solid brass candelabra is richly modeled throughout, with scrolling arms rising from a baluster-form stem, a pierced gallery, and a stepped circular base, all showing excellent weight, depth, and quality of casting.

With its strong architectural presence and dramatic sculptural form, this piece works beautifully as a statement object on a console, sideboard, dining table, or mantel, bringing classic European character to both traditional and more eclectic interiors.

Well made and substantial, this is a fine example of late 19th-century Continental decorative brass in the Baroque Revival style, dating to approximately c1890.
