Antique English Oak Canterbury Music Magazine Stand BARLEY TWIST c1890.

Direct from England, a superb English oak canterbury stand, beautifully crafted with rich patina and gorgeous BARLEY TWIST POSTS.  Each side features original cane panels with barley twists posts and turned finials on the corners.

The full-length barley twist legs rest on elongated pear-shaped feet and are joined with barley twist stretchers on all sides (always a sign of quality when all legs and stretcher are barley twist).

Perfect as an accent beside a reading chair, in a study, or as a decorative focal point in any room.  Quality throughout, well built by craftsmen of the period, late-Victorian or Edwardian, circa1890.

Measurements:  33” ht.  x 20” x 11”.
