Antique English ROUND Side Center Table BARLEY TWIST Carved Oak Jacobean c1910.

Direct from England, another fabulous antique British side or center table, with superb design and a stunning silhouette.  A statement piece for any room, the table features a fully carved beveled edge round top--carved priory arch design on the outer band, with the center table carvings of fruit and foliage on a stipple carved background.

The elegant design also includes a wide apron, carved on all sides, with carved priory arches on each center panel.

All four legs are English barley twist, slightly splayed, with turned bobbin stretchers and a second lower shelf, round and carved, in the same manner as the table top.

Quite a standout, with classic British style, and a versatile size that fits well in today’s home.  Quality throughout, well built by craftsmen of the period; solid oak, heavy and sturdy, circa 1910.
