Direct from England, a gorgeous antique English “Welsh dresser” or sideboard, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and richly carved details.

This dresser is a large size, with a very ornate upper section having dual carved arches with open carved designs and barley twist center and side trim.  The two full length shelves have scalloping trim below and full length plate grooves, perfect for displaying majolica, Imari or your favorite decorative wares.

The lower cabinet offers dual paneled doors with raised geometric Jacobean moldings, carved floral roundel centers and brass door pulls, supported by turned barley twist legs, with full stretchers for stability and support.

Constructed from English tiger oak with a warm finish and gorgeous tiger oak grains throughout.  A classic piece of English country furniture blending Gothic and Jacobean revival influences, ideal for use in a dining room, entry, country kitchen or as a statement display piece.  Well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1910.

Measurements:  78” ht.  x 48” (4 ft.)  x 18.75”.  Base only, 37” ht. x 48” x 18.75”. Upper only, 41” ht. x 48” x 9.5”.
