Antique French Dessert Server Sideboard Buffet Louis XV Carved Tiger Oak c1890.

Direct from France, a highly carved antique French dessert server or buffet, in a very large size, almost 5 ft. height and over 4 ft. length!

This majestic server has a high back with large, dimensional carved center medallion with carved florals cascading on either side of the serpentine beveled back panel.

Ornate carvings continue across the front, on both large drawer panels and the serpentine apron.  The long, elegant cabriole legs have carved shell knees and carved hoof feet.  An exceptional amount of additional storage and display will a full length lower scalloped shelf.

Solid oak, with stunning tiger oak grain throughout, dovetailed drawers; well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.

Measurements:  58” ht.  x 52” x 21.5”. Height to server top, 40”.
