Antique English Mahogany CORNER Display Shelf BARLEY TWIST Étagère Bookshelf.

Direct from England, a beautiful antique English corner shelf or étagère.  It’s stunning silhouette includes a lavish open carved crown with top finial above four separate shelves, each supported by full barley twist columns on all sides with up finials to the corners.

The rounded edge, curved mahogany shelves increase in size from the top, with each having scalloped trim aprons and turned feet for support.  Versatile size, slender yet tall, excellent for use as a bookshelf or display in any room. Well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.

Measurements:  49” ht.  x 22” x 15.25”.  Center back to front edge of top shelf, 11.25”; to front edge of second shelf, 12.75”; to front edge of third shelf; center back to front edge of lower shelf, 15.25”.
