Antique English Hall Bench Carved Oak Barley Twist Jacobean Lift Top Settee.

Direct from England, a classic British antique hall bench or settee with traditional charm and Jacobean style throughout.

Beautifully trimmed with beaded banding above the five back panels, each having a large applied carved diamond center.  More large panels and moulding continue on the lower front with wide carved banding below.  Completing that British charm-barley twist posts support the arms on either side.

Large, 4.5 ft length allows for plenty of seating and generous storage area hidden below the lift top bench. Venerable English style, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1920.

Measurements:  36.5” ht. x 55.25” x 17.5”.  Seat ht. 18”.
