Antique French Table Library Office Desk Renaissance Revival Dark Oak c1880.

Direct from southeastern France, a superb antique table or desk, with exquisite carvings and a substantial 5. ft. size.

Elements of Renaissance Revival style throughout, with dimensional carved masks on all four corners, and over-sized vertical gadrooning carvings on the apron.

The four over-sized baluster legs also feature large carved gadrooning and are joined by a wide, carved “H” stretcher with carved beveled edging.

Beautifully finished and carved on all sides, this desk/table could easily be placed in the center of any room, from kitchen to dining, to office…the possibilities are limitless!!

Quality throughout, well carved and constructed by craftsmen of the period, circa1880.

Measurements:  29.25” ht. x 58.5” x 35”.
