Direct from France, a very special, highly carved, 19th century French demilune table/server/bookcase shelf!
Oversized barley twist posts on the front and sides frame three demilune shelves and create an elegant silhouette. Other elements include carved block joints and carved beveled edges to the curved shelves.
A raised back panel features Renaissance carved cherubs and foliate scrolls, with large carved cup and toupie feet to complete the stunning design. Quality throughout, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.
Measurements: 44.5” ht. x 38” x 19.5”.
