Direct from France, one of several amazing pieces of antique French brass in our most recent container! This lovely antique brass French jardiniere has full length repousse cherub scenes around the entire oval shape, as they are depicted building a fire in the woods, aiming a bow alongside a little lamb, and gathering twigs! Lion masks holding rings on each side, and four brass ‘paw’ feet.
Original REMOVABLE zinc liner protects the brass and also allows for use as a drinks server! Well crafted in France, circa1890.
Measurements: 9.5” ht. x 24” x 7.25”.
