Direct from France, a beautiful set of petite antique French ‘salon’ chairs.  Highly adorned backs feature generous open carvings, beaded trim, acorn finials and French carved ribbon and floral designs!   Their Louis XVI style continues from top to bottom, with delicate carved keystones and trim on the lower chair, supported with four turned legs. 

Carved French walnut with stunning upholstery in a goldish satin tone with diamond design featuring textured centers and tiny burgundy flourishes; note the ribbon trimmed edging!

This set of 4 is a petite “parlor” size, and perfect for uses throughout your home, from boudoir and sitting area to a small wine/bistro table.  French feminine style at its finest, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1920.
