Direct from France, a beautiful set of 4 antique French dining chairs!  Ornately carved, with serpentine crowns and shaped back panels having carved center shields.

Carved block joints above and below the barley twist posts that flank the center back.  And yes, the barley twist continues on the lower legs, as well as the double stretchers and side stretchers…ALL THE BARLEY TWIST!!

Beveled carved edge seat with original cane insets.  Well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1920.

Measurements:  36” ht.  x 17” x 16”.  Seat ht. 18”. Width across back, 14.25”.
