Direct from France to us, we’re so excited to offer this stunning antique mahogany commode or chest of drawers, a classic antique French beauty and versatile for so many places in your home!
It has the original, thick WHITE MARBLE top with shaped and beveled edge, that rests upon the gorgeous mahogany chest. Two large drawers have beaded edges and feature large brass pulls and brass escutcheons with tiny French ribbons! Reeded round columns on either side, scalloped lower front and reeded legs with gilded trim complete the design.
Quality throughout with original marble, dovetailed drawers and original keys; well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1920.
