Carved beveled edge top above the two drawers, each having fully carved fronts and handles of florals, fruits and vines, with large floral keystone blocks and carved priory design lower trim.
The open shelves also have wide carved leaf designs to the edges and a shaped scalloped trim below (superb quality and a rare feature).
Thick barley twist columns on both front AND back (another sign of quality and superior craftsmanship).
With all its custom features and larger size, this server would be versatile for placement in various locations throughout the home, from dining room to kitchen to family room…and certain to be a focal point anywhere! Well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1880.
