Antique French Renaissance Cabinet Server Carved Oak Bookcase Sideboard c1880.

 Direct from France, a stunning antique French cabinet with opulent hand carvings that create quite a statement piece for any room in your home!

The Renaissance style hand carvings include thick French scrolls with lion masks on the upper cabinet; dimensional full figural designs flanking the center door that has a charming French cherub in the center panel.

Hand carvings continue to the lower stand, with a wide apron carving of a French floral basket amidst ribbons and scrolls.

The upper cabinet sits upon a lower base with four turned and grooved bulbous legs.  Excellent craftsmanship, note even the sides of the cabinet are fully carved and all four of the legs are bulbous, not just the front two!  Quality throughout, circa1880.

Measurements:  63.25” ht.  x 31.75” x 17.50”.  Bottom piece, 30.5”ht x 31.75” x 17”.  Upper cabinet, 32.75” ht. x 31.75” x 17.5”.
