Beautiful shaped and carved corbels support the upper shelf that includes a grooved plate rack for displaying plates, platters or framed prints.

Center panel features a carved French shell surrounded by carved scrolls and a tiny scalloped edge interior shelf.

Six large, ornate brass cherub hooks for hanging copper pots, coats, hats, whatever you like!

A BIT OF HISTORY~~In France, England, Belgium and across Europe, these shelves were originally used as a “kitchen shelf” with copper pots and pans being hung from the hooks.  In today’s home or office, these statement pieces are lovely in ANY room, perhaps towel storage in a guest bathroom, as a foyer or hall piece with coats and canes hung on the hooks…ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES!!
