A superb antique French oak desk with exquisite, ornate carvings!
~The upper desk has a beautiful carved crown with center ribbon/wreath and carved scrolls above the full length display shelf. Below are five drawers and a cubbyhole, with carved drawer fronts & a carved lion mask handle on the center drawer.~
~Lower desk has four drawers, with center drawer having a carved lion mask handle. Right drawer has interior divided compartment~
~Lower desk features barley twist legs (on all sides) and a full length barley twist cross stretcher (only found in the finest quality antiques)~
~Heavy and substantial, quality construction, carefully made by craftsmen of the era, made to last for generations~

Height from floor to bottom of center drawer, 22.5”.
(Desk is three pieces, lower base, middle drawers, upper crown)
