Antique French Coffee Table Barley Twist Carved Oak Cocktail Louis XIII.
Direct from France, a lovely and unique antique French oak coffee table, in a long, rectangular shape. Large base has four, thick, French barley twist legs resting on an elevated base with carved serpentine feet. Center base features a carved platform with a large oak up finial. Tabletop is a large rectangle with rounded corners and a thick beveled edge. Sturdy and strong, well built by craftsmen of the period. Probably converted into a coffee table in the early 20th century.
Measurements: 21.5” ht. x 44.5” x 28”.
