Antique English Crank Dining Table Carved Oak Expandable Leaf Edwardian.

Direct from England, a fabulous antique English Edwardian dining table with original crank and additional leaf!  Thick oak construction that features wide, carved beveled edges on the table top and the leaf, as well as large, heavily carved legs on original casters.

A crank mechanism enables the  4 ft. table to expand by rotating the crank. When the table is expanded the original leaf can be added for additional seating, creating a table size over 5 ft. 6 inches!!

This is another ‘rare find’ as the extra leaves and cranks are normally lost over the years; seldom do we find one with both!  Quality throughout; well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890, with a recently refinished table top.

Measurements:  28.5” ht.  x 41” x 48” without leaf.  Large, full size with leaf inserted, 41” x 69.5” (over 5.5 ft).  Clearance under interior apron, 23.75”.

Condition:  This item is in very good condition with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches, imperfections.  Recently refinished table top and leaf.  Included multiple photos should be considered as an integral part of the description.
