19th century French Carved Oak Sofa Side Table Renaissance Cherub Angel

~Unique hand carvings on this versatile antique French side table~
~Lower table highlight is the center oval medallion with a full figural carved standing cherub holding ribbon and floral bouquet overhead!~
~Note the elaborate carvings and carved trim on the oval plaque as well as the thick cross stretcher~
~Scalloped feet are also heavily carved with acanthus front/back and a floral with swag on each side~
~Thick oak octagon top has banded sides, curved corners and features triple beveled edges~
~Excellent size for a foyer, sofa or occasional table, and certain to be a focal point in any room!~
~Solid oak, heavy and strong, well built by craftsmen of the period~
