~Center back features a dimensional hand carved hunt hound, surrounded by open carved Black Forest foliage and fruit~
~Carved upper back and carved beveled edge seat~
~Barley twist legs, front and back~
~Probably an aristocrat’s commissioned piece for his hunting lodge~
~Hand carved and constructed by craftsmen of the period~

Very old antique; signs of age, use, dings, imperfections. Old reinforcement metal bands on back; glued joints. Worn carvings on top; old beetle signs.
