Pair Set Antique French Embossed Brass Arched Panel Wall Repousse Brittany.

Direct from the Brittany region of France, a gorgeous matching pair of antique French wall hangings!

Each embossed/repousse panel beautifully depicts a lovely country scene with meticulously craftsmanship and attention to details.  The left panel features a Breton maid, in period dress, with her flock of sheep walking towards a winding road; a large, blooming tree above and a church and village in the distance. 

The right panel has a Breton maiden sitting with her flock of swans/geese in the foreground; a cobblestone path behind them leads to a pasture and forest to the background, with a large tree overhead.

Both panels feature arched tops with dual rows of brass tack trimming around the edges. Circa 1920.

Measurements, each panel:  40.5” ht.  x 20.75” x 1”.
